Dylan L. Roden, PLA
Principal - Landscape Architect
Dylan, a seasoned landscape architect with over 20 years of experience, is deeply versed in Florida’s unique ecosystems, understanding their intricate dynamics and the impacts of human activity. While at the University of Florida, he studied and designed an innovative plan for Lake Okeechobee’s spoil ecosystems, using GIS modeling to boost environmental health, recreation, cultural value, and economic vitality for the Everglades and nearby communities.
His career spans a wide range of projects—residential, retail, commercial, and public—covering everything from conceptual sketches to detailed construction plans. Dylan’s expertise shines in crafting sustainable landscapes, restoring native habitats, and designing urban green spaces, with a keen eye for integrating ecological function with aesthetic appeal. He’s also a pro at creating 2D and 3D graphics, producing detailed site studies, dynamic project fly-throughs, and immersive walk-throughs that bring designs to life. When he’s not shaping landscapes, Dylan cheers on his two kids at their sports activities and catches the occasional Florida Panthers hockey game.
Alec R. Dickerson, MURP
Principal - Land Use Planner
Alec, a native of south Louisiana, earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science focusing on Comparative Politics in 2009 at Louisiana State University. Experiencing Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and living through the rebuilding of New Orleans sparked an interest in how government, stakeholders, and developers collaborate in an effort to build better communities for all.
In 2011, Alec moved to Palm Beach County. In 2012, he volunteered with the City of Lake Worth Beach to collect data and analyze a survey about citizen satisfaction. This helped the Lake Worth Beach City Commission focus on establishing goals and objectives to meet the community's needs. He earned his Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University in 2019.
In his 12 years as a land use planner, Alec has taken pride in fostering successful client relationships by acting as a bridge between complex regulations and visionary projects. His approach is to build trust through clear communication and proactive problem-solving, ensuring that every client feels heard and understood. This has allowed him to guide diverse projects from initial concept to final approval, all while navigating the intricacies of zoning, environmental review, and public engagement. In his spare time, Alec enjoys to travel, watch sports, and hang out with his two doodles, Beatrix and Roux.
